Dr. Aimie Apigian MD

What is your story?  Many of us may not even know the full scope of our life story, but our bodies and health give us clues.  Symptoms and illnesses that become chronic, that the current medical system is not able to provide answers or healing for can be the clues our bodies give of our story.

My life was dramatically affected by Miguel, a 4 year old boy I adopted from the foster care system while during medical school who had experienced neglect, abuse, and instability since he was born.  He ultimately challenged every aspect of my way of thinking, my medical training, even my spiritual beliefs.
The result has been an experiential learning of trauma, neurobiology, attachment disorders, stress and inflammatory illnesses, and addictions.  The result has also been a personal quest to find the underlying cause and heal myself from fatigue, depression, and high levels of autoimmune antibodies that the specialists had no answers for except an anti-depressant to manage symptoms.

Through my own journey and helping others through theirs, my understanding of what it takes to heal trauma and the effects of stress on the brain and body has expanded to beyond what conventional medicine offers. Science and the experience of others are now confirming that even the most challenging of cases can heal.
There is hope, and you can experience healing and wholeness too.

Dr. Christina Bjorndal

While I was doing my undergraduate degree at UBC in the late 1980’s, I experienced a debilitating depression and anxiety. I also had an eating disorder and was not coping with the stress I was under at that time. Like most people, I had not heard about Naturopathic medicine so I was treated with medications that were not effective. After taking the medication that was initially prescribed to alleviate depression, I swung into a psychotic manic episode and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder type 1.

In 1994, after surviving a suicide attempt (which left me in a coma, on dialysis waiting for a kidney transplant), I finally began the healing process after reading a book called “A Return to Love” by Marianne Williamson. Up until this point I was living with the shame and stigma of having a mental illness and I had not accepted myself.

The sole reason I became a Naturopathic Doctor was because when I was struggling with my illness there weren’t many natural experts in the field. After attending a Mental Health Regained Public Forum in 1999, I became a patient of Dr. Abram Hoffer’s (a nutritionally oriented psychiatrist) and experienced my first depression and anxiety free year in 13 years. I also made some major life changes, such as resigning from my corporate job, where I reported to the CEO and travelled frequently and I began the process of inquiry into what I really wanted to be doing with my life.

After sitting with the question “If money didn’t matter, what would I be doing?” the answer revealed itself to me in a tiny whisper “Become a Naturopathic Doctor and help people heal from anxiety, depression , anorexia, bulimia, bipolar disorder (types 1 or 2), addiction, ADD/ADHD, etc using natural therapies and orthomolecular medicine – as you have been helped“.

My books, 10 week course and in-person retreat teach you how you can regain your mental health using a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual approach to health. Let me guide you on the path to wellness so you can fulfill your potential and be free from the mental prison you may be living in. My goal is to help people living in Edmonton be the best they can be.

Dr. Georgia Foster

I have been working as a Clinical Hypnotherapist since 1995. I qualified with distinction at the London College of Clinical Hypnosis and went on to lecture for two years. During this time I built up a busy practice and started running my own programs. I'd previously spent some time in California training to be a Voice Dialogue therapist. This psychology training is an integral part of my success, combined with my hypnosis techniques.

I am from Melbourne, Australia. I lived in London for 23 years before moving back to Melbourne in 2017. I used to be overweight and a very heavy, regular drinker who used food and alcohol as a way to escape my insecurities. Alcohol was my confidence crutch and I used it regularly to feel more comfortable around other people. I must tell you that I still do drink alcohol, have the odd hangover and eat chocolate. Another thing that I like to share is that I was eternally single for many years (apart from the odd boyfriend) and at the age of 43 I met the love of my life. After being told that I would never be able to have children, due to a medical condition, I am now the proud mother of triplet boys who were born in February 2013.

My special approach is progressive rather than regressive. In other words, I believe that it is important to understand a little bit of history but, more importantly, to train the mind to move on. All my programmes help people to do this. Part of the major issues is that people get ‘stuck’ in unhelpful, habitual thinking that is related to the past. I believe it is important to acknowledge history but appreciate that it can hold people back from enjoying being in the present and trusting in the future. I am very passionate about my work and feel very strongly that everybody has the ability and resources to improve their emotional wellbeing. They just need to learn how! I have had the privilege of being featured in some of the most well read newspapers and magazines such as The Sunday Times, The Guardian, The Daily Mail, Good Housekeeping and Psychologies Magazine just to name a few. I am regularly featured on Sky News  and The Morning Show Australia.

Patti Conklin

Patti Conklin grew up in Brooktondale, NY with a unique ability to see how the vibration of words and emotions affect the physical body. Through this sight, she began to understand that manipulating the vibration of the particles that make up the body could release stored emotion and facilitate healing, and Conklin Method of Cellular Cleansing was born.

After spending her youth learning and perfecting her healing abilities, she began to work with individuals with illnesses ranging from physical to mental, and even spiritual. Patti grew her private practice with tremendous results, and as her reputation grew, more and more people sought her out, bringing her into their home for healing.

Patti realized that while she can help those who have become ill, she could teach others how to shift their perception and thus prevent illness from occurring. She quickly became a frequent keynote speaker, and soon a curriculum to learn the Conklin Method of Cellular Cleansing was in demand. She developed the Certified Associates of Cellular Cleansing training course which opened the doorway to a select few students who now offer Cellular Cleansing in their own private practices across the globe.

Patti’s great successes reach further than the world of health, however. Before she began her own private practice, Patti was active in the non-profit world where she held many exciting and interesting jobs, such as Director of Women in Literacy, Laubach Literacy International, overseeing campaigns in 30 countries throughout Africa, Asia and South America; Southeast Regional Director Canine Companions for Independence; West Regional Director of Make A Wish Foundation; and Development Director of Girl Scouts of America in Michigan.

Among Patti’s many honors are the Founder’s Award, from the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association in 2007, and the President’s Award in 2004 from the International Association of Counselors and Therapists. Also, she was inducted into the International Hypnosis Hall of Fame in 1996. Patti has been labeled by colleagues, physicians, and clients as one of the greatest Medical Intuitives of the 21st Century. Patti is the author of God Within: The Day God’s Train Stopped, a tell-all book that recounts the experiences, visitations, and lessons Patti has been faced with in learning and accepting her mission in this life: “To teach others to become insubstantial without transitioning.”
Patti has been included in literary works with respect by authors in more than ten books, including Soul Agreements by Dick Sutphen, Miracles of the Casa by Josie Ravenwing, and Radical Remissions by Dr. Kelly Turner, Unstuff Yourself by Nancie Barwick Ph.D, One Day At A Time by David M. Sloan, The Faces Behind The Pages That Inspire by Lori Rekowski, to name a few.
